History

The Binational India-Peru Chamber of Commerce - INCHAM PERU is a civil non-profit association legally created on March 6, 2013, to promote trade, direct investment and industry between Peru and India. However, it was officially opened by the Vice President of India, H.E.Mr. Mohammad Hamid Ansari on October 28, 2013.

The launch was organized by the Indian Embassy in Peru and INCHAM PERU. Among those present at the occasion were the Ambassador of India, Manpreet Vohra, the first president of INCHAM PERU, Raghav Gupta, and senior officials and business leaders from India and Peru.

The first Board of INCHAM PERU for the period 2013-2015 was formed by: Mr. Raghav Gupta, Mr. Ravi Krishna, Mr. Rohit Rao.

In 2019 INCHAM PERU start a resizing process where the camera becomes a binational entity under the consulting Mr. Amb (r). Jorge Castañeda and the administrative team.
